My name is Ashley Staples and I am a photographer located in the mountains of North Carolina. I've been working in photography since 2001 doing freelance in Durham, NC and have since developed a strong interest in nature and outdoor photography.
I graduated from Appalachian State University in 2010 with a degree in Technical Photography and a minor in Geology. I've worked as an assistant with local photographers and have worked on my own portfolio doing not only wildlife photography but also animal and family portraits.
Besides photography I also work at the ASU library as a digitization technician and an exhibition and website developer.
